На первом месте, конечно же, самая большая собака мастиф. Она развивает челюстями усилие 39 кг/см2 - асфальтоукладочный каток давит на дорогу в 13 раз слабее. Несмотря на свои размеры и физическую мощь, мастифы очень спокойны и дружелюбны, поэтому их часто называют ласковыми гигантами.
На втором месте ротвейлер. Он способен сжимать челюсти с давлением 23 кг/см2. Эти собаки почти такие же мирные, как мастифы, поэтому в качестве меры безопасности в общественных местах на них надевают намордники.
